At the Beginning of the Quarter:
- Complete at least one upper division course in your area of concentration in this quarter or earlier. See Academic Eligibility Worksheet for qualifying courses.
- Have declared an option in ACCT, FIN, or ITM, and will attend CSUEB next quarter (excluding summer).
- Have completed at least 90 quarter units, which is Junior Standing. This is waived for Graduate students.
- Verify your academic eligibility for pledging Beta Alpha Psi by reviewing the "Beta Alpha Psi Academic Eligibility Checklist"
- Attend the ΒΑΨ Orientation/Information Session.
- Attend the Beta Alpha Psi Pledge Meeting.
- Pay your Accounting Association dues $15.
During the Quarter:
- Fulfill all pledge requirements as outlined at the Beta Alpha Psi Pledge Meeting and those included in the
1st quarter “Pledge Package".
- Maintain academic requirements.
- Pay pledge fees $55 and initiation fees $20.
At the End of the Quarter:
- Submit all forms to Vice President of Candidates
At the Beginning of the Quarter:
- Pay your Beta Alpha Psi/Accounting Association dues $15.
- After successful completion of ALL the requirements, attend the Beta Alpha Psi Initiation Ceremony and the pledge pins will be offered during the ceremony.
During the Quarter:
- Fulfill candidate requirements which are included in 2nd quarter "Pledge Package"
- Actively participate in the Accounting Association/Beta Alpha Psi events (attend at least 50% qualified events). Qualifying events noted on quarterly calendar.
- Attend a community service event.
- Attend the General Meeting.
- Maintain academic requirements.
If you do not complete these requirements for this quarter and every quarter until you graduate, you will lose your active member status.
Only active members are eligible for the following: chapter scholarships, ΒΑΨ graduation sashes, placement of your name on members list on the website.
